Chevron Enjoy Science joins hands with the National Science Museum to launch Enjoy Science Careers Year 2
inspiring youth with 10 new STEM careers through interactive exhibitions and activities
STEM education is the pedagogy that consists of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It brings together integrated teaching and learning approaches to develop skills, including critical thinking, experimentation, communication and problem-solving. These skills are critical to success in the 21st century careers that will move the country forward and strengthen Thailand’s economy and competitiveness.
Chevron Enjoy Science, in partnership with the National Science Museum (NSM), is expanding on the success of the first year of Enjoy Science Careers to continue boosting students’ interest in STEM education nationwide. The project highlights an exciting, new set of 10 STEM careers through interactive exhibitions and hands-on activities. Enjoy Science Careers offer opportunities for students to experience each profession through role-playing activities and to meet with STEM career idols from these 10 professions.
The Chevron Enjoy Science Project is a public-private partnership with a range of partners in the government, the private sector and civil society. The project aims to kindle students’ interest to pursue careers in STEM that will, in turn, lead to the development of a skilled workforce that will move the country forward in line with Thailand 4.0 policy.
