Recognizing the need and as part of Chevron Enjoy Science’s commitment to strengthening Thailand’s competitiveness and innovation through the support of education in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and technical skills training. The i new TVET Hub at Suranaree University of Technology will drive the competitiveness in the microelectronics sector and upgrade the quality of skilled workers, both in the province and surrounding areas, leading to the development of a more skilled workforce to meet the industry’s requirements.
The microelectronics industry is critical in Nakhon Ratchasima and surrounding provinces, and so the Suranaree TVET Hub will emphasize workforce development that is tailored for electronics jobs. By strategically linking academic institutions with electronics firms, the Hub will ensure that the workforce is equipped with both practical and theoretical skills needed to serve in the sector.
