Thailand Children’s University

The Thailand Children’s University Project was established and initiated by Her Royal Highness Maha Chakri Sirindhorn with the purpose of promotion of learning and interest in the STEM education through a replica of university activities that are fun and science-related for the youths in primary and secondary schools. This is a joint project between the Chevron Enjoy Science Project, the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST) and network universities. The Thailand Children’s University Project was first piloted in Thailand in 2011 by adopting the same project under the curriculum of Bielefeld University, Germany and adjusting the experimental activities to suit the Thai society.
